Where Is Protect Your Wealth Licensed to Sell Life Insurance?
Protect Your Wealth is licensed to sell life insurance in seven provinces: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Each province licenses brokers on its own. That’s why every province on this page is listed with its own regulator, where you can look up the licence yourself.
Not licensed
Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
If you live in one of these, the advice is simple: find a local broker licensed in your province.

How to Check a Life Insurance Broker’s Licence in Your Province
Feel free to look at licensing. Each province keeps its own public register of licensed insurance agents and brokers, and you can search it by name before you share anything.
Search for Parvesh Benning in the register for your province. A licence check is also the quickest way to spot a fake agent, because anyone selling life insurance has to be licensed where you live.

Do You Need a Local Life Insurance Broker?
No. It makes no difference which province you’re in. What matters is that your broker is licensed where you live and can compare the insurers you can actually apply with, not that the office is down the street.
That’s also what a life insurance broker is for: one conversation, several insurers side by side.
“
Sometimes the funny thing is clients think they’re shopping when they go to different places. But the reality is our Canadian marketplace is only so many companies.
Parvesh Benning, Licensed Life Insurance Broker
What people expect from a local broker, and how our team covers it from anywhere in the seven provinces
Behind every call is our client care team, keeping your file moving with the insurer from the first quote to the policy in your hands. If you’d rather skip the nurse altogether, no-medical life insurance asks fewer health questions and has no nurse visit, but it’s still underwritten and usually costs more.
Moving to Another Province With Life Insurance
Your policy is always with the company, not the broker. Because the company is going to be there longer than any broker ever will be. So when you move, the coverage comes with you.
A move doesn’t change your coverage or your premium. Update your address with the insurer, or tell us and we’ll do it. What changes is who can help with new coverage, and that depends on where you land.

MOVING WITHIN BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, NB OR NS
Same policy, same team.
Your policy carries on unchanged, and we can still review it or apply for new coverage for you.
MOVING TO QUEBEC, PEI, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR OR THE TERRITORIES
Same policy, local broker for anything new.
Your policy stays in force with the insurer. For new coverage, find a local broker licensed in your new province.

Questions About Licensing, Fees and Applying From Your Province
01
Can you help me if I live in Quebec, PEI or Newfoundland and Labrador?
No. Protect Your Wealth is licensed in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. If you live in Quebec, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador or one of the territories, find a local broker licensed in your province.
02
How do I check that a life insurance broker is licensed?
Search the broker’s name in your province’s public register. In Ontario that’s FSRA. In the other provinces we cover, it’s the Insurance Council of British Columbia, the Alberta Insurance Council, the Insurance Council of Manitoba, the Insurance Councils of Saskatchewan, FCNB in New Brunswick and the Nova Scotia Office of the Superintendent of Insurance.
03
Does my province change what I pay for life insurance?
No. For the insurers and products we compare, your province isn’t a pricing factor. Premiums are based on your age, sex, health, smoking status, coverage amount and term.
04
Do you charge a fee for your service?
No, there’s no bill to clients. Insurance brokers work like mortgage brokers or home insurance brokers: whichever insurer you choose pays the brokerage directly, so there’s no out-of-pocket cost. You pay only the insurer’s premium, and it goes straight to the insurance company.
05
Do I need to be in my province when I apply?
Yes, to apply through us. We take applications while you’re in one of the seven provinces we’re licensed in. If you’re travelling or away part of the year, tell us before you apply and we’ll plan the timing around your time at home.
